HISTORY

Over its more than 100-year history, OGMA has earned a worldwide major position in the aeronautical industry.

The capabilities we built and the complex specialization within several fields in the aeronautical industry have produced a wide offer of services and products in Aircraft Maintenance, Aerostructures Manufacturing, Aeronautical Engineering and Fleet Management, guided by excellence and driven by the continual improvement of our services and Employees.

Owned 65% by Embraer and 35% by the Portuguese State through idD, OGMA is based at Alverca, approximately 20Km north of Lisbon.

We always invest in the acquisition, consolidation and renewal of behavioral and technical skills of our employees, so that our sustainability is assured.

THE ROAD TO EXCELLENCE, WITH OUR PEOPLE


At OGMA we foster continual improvement on a daily basis and have several tools put in place to provide for further lean processes, achieved by means of Kaizen events. We get our Employees involved in these events and reward their improvement inputs through the Good Idea! Program. In 2018, OGMA was awarded the "Excellence and Productivity" prize by the Kaizen Institute

We also carry out engagement surveys on a regular basis, using renowned companies in the market to assess and develop Employee satisfaction and involvement in the organization.

The trainee Program is intended to attract high potential young people, with attitude and new ideas that, combined with our experienced knowledge, can challenge us to do better, in regard to business, operations, processes and engineering.
